Quote Of The Week – Wynn Bullock

I didn’t want to tell the tree or weed what it was. I wanted it to tell me something and through me express its meaning in nature.

MFPOTW – In the mist ver.2

Not every trip I did had nice light. This morning at Peak District, there was no light at all. But I took my camera out of my bag anyway.

I’m glad I did, the mist is adding a lot to this shot. When I look at this shot I feel loneliness.

Do you like to shoot in the mist?

Let me know below!

A photographer looks at everything, which is why he must look from beginning to end. Face the subject head-on, stay fixed, turn the entire body into an eye and face the world.

MFPOTW – Stanage from Burbage rocks

Sunrise at Burbage rocks looking back at Stanage edge in Peak District. This place is a very accessible location in Peaks and I have lots of shots from this spot.

This time I was shooting legendary Acros 100 and I am really please with tonality on this shot.

Have you ever shot original Fuji Acros 100? How did you process it?

Let me know below!

Great news!

When Analogue Wonderland together with Kodak announced summer competition called “The Finest”, I knew I have to enter.

All competition was about to celebrate the finest grain on Kodak Ektar 100. Because Ektar 100 is my go-to negative colour stock, I have many shots.

MFPOTW – RED

Winter shot of the beech tree at the  Bolehill quarry in Peak District. It was winter and this little tree shouted at me. I’m very happy how Kodak rendered the colours…

Have you been to the Bolehill Quarry?

MFPOTW – The quarry reflection

I found this little spot when I was walking along in Bolehill quarry in Peak District. It was winter and I liked how dead bracken reflected in the pool. I’m very happy how Kodak rendered the colours. Shot maybe needs a little bit of crop from the top, but at this point, I’m not sure …

What do you think shout I crop it tighter?

Let me know below!
