Selwicks Bay photographic trip

Selwicks bay

Selwicks Bay /Flamborough Head photo trip

This was one of the trips when I had no idea where I’m going.  Actually, I ‘ve never heard of Selwicks Bay before. I was told that Selwicks Bay is part of the Flamborough Head coastline, but that was it. I agreed to go on a trip hoping this place will be worth the visit…

It is a fantastic place. White cliffs are amazing and there is a lot of photographic opportunities. An hour before sunrise, we were standing on the beach. We had plenty of time to set up. Chris took out his drones and started to filming.I was a bit worried that there will be no light, because of the clouds. Luckily we had few minutes of the light….

Fujifilm Velvia 50 and Provia 100 was my slide film choice for the shoot.I also had Kodak Ektar in one of my backs, so I did few exposures on that as well. I love shooting Velvia 50 and I’m reasonably happy with the shots from that morning.

This was another successful trip to North Yorkshire. Selwicks Bay is amazing and it is a place would re-visit in the future.

How about you? Have you been there? Have you got any suggestions for places to visit during my next trip?  Leave your comment below.
