Quote Of The Week – Anton Corbijn

Limit your tools, focus on one thing, and just make it work… you become very inventive with the restrictions you give yourself.

MFPOTW – In the mist ver.3

Not every trip I did had a nice light. This morning at Peak District, there was no light at all. But I took my camera out of my bag anyway.

I’m glad I did, the mist is adding a lot to this shot. When I look at this shot I feel loneliness.

This is the third version, taken in the same location. which one do you prefer?

Here are the previous versions: Ver.1  Ver.2

Do you like to shoot in the mist?

MFPOTW – Dustanburgh castle

Dunstanburgh Castle is a 14th-century fortification on the coast of Northumberland in northern England, between the villages of Craster and Embleton. Its location is amazing and I love it there.

Northumberland if of my favourite parts of the UK.

MFPOTW – Stanage from Burbage rocks

Sunrise at Burbage rocks looking back at Stanage edge in Peak District. This place is a very accessible location in Peaks and I have lots of shots from this spot.

This time I was shooting legendary Acros 100 and I am really please with tonality on this shot.

Have you ever shot original Fuji Acros 100? How did you process it?

Let me know below!

Winter shot of the beech tree at the  Bolehill quarry in Peak District. It was winter and this little tree shouted at me. I’m very happy how Kodak rendered the colours…

MFPOTW – The quarry reflection

I found this little spot when I was walking along in Bolehill quarry in Peak District. It was winter and I liked how dead bracken reflected in the pool. I’m very happy how Kodak rendered the colours. Shot maybe needs a little bit of crop from the top, but at this point, I’m not sure …

What do you think shout I crop it tighter?

MFPOTW – Waiting

Most of my landscape photography is about waiting. Waiting for the right condition and light to make that exposure.

This shot is from below Stanage Edge in fabulous Peak District. Unfortunately just before a sunrise belt of clouds came and the light did not happen. I like the shot anyway 🙂

I made a book with Saal Digital.

How was the experience? Here is the story.

Somewhere on the internet, most likely on Facebook, I found the advertisement. It said something like: “We need photographers to test out products….”.
