Welsh 3000ft Project
Welsh 3000ft project.
15 mountains in Wales are higher than 3000ft. Some people can do all of them in one single walk. But not me.
I have started this in 2009 not knowing, that I have actually started the project. I climbed the Snowdon in 2013 and officially started my Project Welsh 3000.
Since then, together with my friend Chris we did (nearly) all of them. Better say Chris did and I did not.
There has been lots of walking involved and we had a really good time.We had to abandon our routes sometimes due to Walsh weather, but we still enjoyed every single minute of it.
This November we planned to finish the project and walk last 3 mountains. To be completely honest, it was my last 3 as Chris did this walk previously. He had bad weather and no visibility then, so he decided to do it again. It was an amazing trip but we had to cut it short. So, It’s still one more to go for me to finish this project off.
Am I disappointed? No . I love Snowdonia and this way I have one more reason to go back there again. Bring it on in 2017!
