My photography began as an exercise to produce artistic images from the places that are inspirational to me.

Nature is an artist and I’m constantly trying to catch the beauty of the landscape. To find something that works beautifully is a rewarding experience.

My goal is to bring this beauty to a wider audience; make the pictures that will make our heart beat faster, make us feel happy or sad or wistful or depressed or whatever… just make us feel!

I largely work around Derbyshire’s Peak District and around Nottingham. I can often be found out on the hills at silly o’clock.

Please visit my galleries to view my portfolio. I really hope my pictures inspire and enthuse you as much as it did for me to capture them and share them with you.

I’m the winner of British National Park Landscape competition 2012.
