I almost never set out to photograph a landscape, nor do I think of my camera as a means of recording a mountain or an animal unless I absolutely need a ‘record shot’.

My first thought is always of light.

The Photography Show 2015

Every year The Photography Show is a “Must” for all photographers. Even I did not want to buy a thing, I was really looking forward to this year’s show. Once headliners had been announced, I knew who I want to see. Master Michael Kenna was announced as a speaker at Super stage on Sunday. Together with my friend Miro we booked the tickets and I get Michael’s book ready to take with me.

An evening with Joe Cornish

If you are into landscape photography you must know the name. One of the greatest British landscape photographers Joe Cornish. Master Cornish is one of my heroes, true master of the camera. I already had 4 of his books and I love his work, his style and vision.

15/05/2012 Nottingham and Nott’s photographic society organised Joe Cornish’s talk and I bought my ticket in February. When the day finally came, I arrived at the venue and found it buzzing with excitement and quite busy. There was even raffle with Joe Cornish’s big print as the main price. Obviously all ticked have been already sold out…
